Poppyco came to me for a website redesign, and as well as needing the website’s backend to be much more flexible than what they had already. The design needed to be fresh, elegant and to showcase their products in the best way possible.
After researching their needs and the flexibility of managing their business online, I decided to use The Furniture Store theme from Neuber Web Solutions as it was exactly what Poppyco needed. I developed a custom theme which involved reskinning the website and encorporating in a new logo and colour scheme.
The website is soon to benefit from a custom multiple query search (a new technology in WordPress 3.1) that allows the shopper to search more specifically through the website, plus backend PHP developments to add an advanced addition to the existing Paypal integration.
The outcome of the redesign has meant that sales have increased and Poppyco are now able to manage their orders, stock control and pricing structure with a few clicks of a button, which is a great feature of a Content Management System, such as WordPress.
